Over the weekend, Nancy Mace—the ultimate spin doctor—launched a misleading attack against Annie.

We want to take a moment to talk about it, because not only is this an attack on Annie’s work, but an attack on the Lowcountry’s LGBTQ+ kids.

In the ad, Mace repeated false QAnon-based talking points against Annie. She accused Annie of pushing gender-changing hormones that she’s never actually been involved in, falsely claiming that this work is child abuse.

None of Mace’s “facts” against trans youth are based on real information, but are instead from an old paper drafted by a medical student.

This is what Nancy Mace does: Escalate vitriol and violence in our communities time and time again for her own political gain.

And this fear-mongering is why it’s so imperative we defeat her in November.
