Join us in Los Feliz on October 1, 2022, at 10:30 AM to table with DSA-LA endorsed school board candidate Rocío Rivas and the Green New Deal for Public Schools LA working group and have discussions with community members around John Marshall High School about the need to invest in our public schools so they are climate resilient learning environments that nurture students and prepare our communities to take on the climate crisis.

  • Community schools that center social services and green spaces
  • An educator training program to implement a K-12 climate literacy curriculum
  • 100% electric school buses by 2030

Crisis Pregnancy Center Action Planning

Monday, October 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Mutual Aid committee is hosting a planning meeting to discuss having an action to counter the misinformation and harmful practices that crisis pregnancy centers continue to perpetuate.

In the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned there has been an outpouring of support and actions to provide aid to abortion clinics and other providers that deal in reproductive health. However we believe that there needs to be more done to address those that purposely use misinformation and intimidation to force people to not have abortions.

Please join us in having this discussion and gathering information.
