CELEBRATE AND PROTECT THE FREEDOM TO READ EVERY DAY WITH NEW TOOLS FROM NCAC
Since it was founded in 1982, Banned Books Week has highlighted the value of free and open access to information by drawing attention to the attempts to remove books and other materials from libraries, schools, and bookstores. As Banned Books Week comes to an end, the NCAC offers various resources to celebrate the freedom to read and to fight censorship year-round.
The National Coalition Against Censorship (NCAC) is a proud member of the Banned Books Week Coalition.
