You know how critical the work of People For the American Way is, especially at this moment in time, but we’re falling short of our $250,000 fundraising goal and some of our key programs could be at risk if we don’t close the gap:
- All Safe: Transforming Public Safety by providing concrete policy proposals for the transformation and implementation of public safety programs specifically at the local level to reduce police violence
- Fighting to take back our courts, from lower federal courts all the way to the Supreme Court, undoing the damage done by Trump judicial appointees and their actions to gut our rights and overturn key precedents like Roe v. Wade
- Defending democracy by protecting voting rights, working toward a national popular vote and getting big money out of politics
We’re ready to lead this fight with every tool in our arsenal, but we’re up against corporate-backed MAGA candidates and conservative organizations that want to drag our country back into the past.
