I am a veteran fighter pilot and TOPGUN graduate who proudly served for 20 years. I completed four deployments from aircraft carriers in support of our missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.

I also completed my service in the Navy Reserves, where I served as the Commanding Officer of VFA-204, the Navy’s F/A-18 squadron based in New Orleans.

Being a fighter pilot takes skill, grit, concentration, and a lot of teamwork. It takes confidence in the sailors who repaired the jet, the officers guiding your landing, and the ordnance men and women uploading your weapons. On an aircraft carrier, teamwork is a necessity. For too long, politicians like Kennedy have sowed division in our state by valuing partisanship over progress. They support radical policies that put voting rights and women’s health at risk. And they don't represent the needs of their constituents.

Folks, the American people deserve better.

My experiences growing up in central Louisiana, attending the Naval Academy, and flying missions in the Middle East have instilled in me those ideals of duty, honor, and loyalty. And now, more than ever, that's exactly the leadership our state and our country need.
