An important deadline is fast approaching and the campaign needs your help!
After the end of the 2nd Quarter in June, we shared a couple of very powerful statistics with you:
- Ed out-raised his opponent in individual Maine donors 3 to 1.
- A breakdown of donations shows that Pingree had only collected $50,938 from Maine residents, while Ed had raised $140,848 from supporters who call Maine home.
- Ed also raised more money from individual donors, with total individual contributions for the two coming in at $244,754 and $210,300, respectively.
- Only 9% of Pingree’s total cash-on-hand came from individuals, with the rest coming from PACs and corporations. 90% of Ed’s donations come from people just like you!
With the 3rd Quarter set to close at Midnight Friday, September 30th, it is now more important than ever for people hoping for common sense representation in Washington to step up and make the next set of numbers even more impressive!
