I'm disgusted, friend. Let me tell you why:

By now I'm sure you've heard that Ron DeSantis sent refugees on planes to Martha's Vineyard in a political stunt. He sent them without any plan, shelter or basic human necessities. He's treating human lives as political props, and it's downright cruel. 

Refugees fleeing violence and authoritarianism deserve to be treated with dignity, not cruelty. It's the promise of America. But Marco Rubio is supporting DeSantis every step of the way and agreeing with him to rile up his far-right base to turn out in November. 

I hope you'll agree with me when I say Florida deserves better. We deserve leaders who treat Florida's immigrant communities – and ALL of us – with dignity and respect.

We can do better. That's why I'm running to defeat Rubio and this brand of GOP extremism – and political experts say I'm our best and last chance to flip Florida blue.
