Hey everyone, it’s Marisa.

This is a big week for Jeff: He’s got his biggest fundraising deadline of the entire election coming up on Friday, and he and his team are working around the clock to hit their goal.

Weeks like this can be draining, so I thought we could make this a little more fun. That’s why I’ve challenged Jeff to a contest to see who can raise more money before Friday’s deadline. We’ve each got our own special links, so if you click my link here you’ll be helping me defeat my husband.

He’s got a bit of a head start, but I feel good about our odds — especially if everyone reading this email pitches in just $5.

Friday’s deadline is especially important since it’s the last time Jeff’s campaign will file their quarterly report with the FEC before the election. That means these fundraising numbers are what Republicans and super PACs will use to determine if they should flood this race with money to defeat Jeff.

That’s where we come in! If we can raise enough money by Friday at midnight, we can fend off any attacks that might be coming Jeff’s way.
