Dear John,

The NhRP congratulates our cruelty-free corporate partner Hourglass Cosmetics [[link removed]] for the launch of their Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked [[link removed]] palettes. The three palettes feature artwork by illustrator Katie Scott, one of which depicts our elephant client Happy [[link removed]] . These limited-edition palettes are part of their Unlocked collection (the name was inspired by documentary film Unlocking the Cage [[link removed]] ) and 5% of the profits go towards supporting the work we do to secure fundamental rights for nonhuman animals. Watch Hourglass founder and CEO Carisa Janes’ message of support for Happy here [[link removed]] .

The cruelty-free luxury beauty brand has been a corporate partner of the Nonhuman Rights Project since 2017, finding alignment in a deep mutual commitment to protecting nonhuman animals from human-caused harm. Both the NhRP and Hourglass hold the same core objective of changing a status quo that views and treats nonhuman animals as “things.” Since the beginning of our partnership, Hourglass has donated 1% of all profits from their online store to the NhRP.

Shop the Unlocked collection and Hourglass will donate 5% of profits to the NhRP. [[link removed]] Shop the rest of the online store and they will donate 1% of profits to the NhRP.

If you’d like to learn more about our partnership with Hourglass or if you own or work for an organization that is interested in supporting the NhRP’s unique and vital mission through corporate partnership, please reach out to me at [email protected] [[email protected]] .

With gratitude,

Mickey Suzuki
Development Director, the NhRP
