Folks --

Tina Smith is a good friend of mine, which is why when she asked me to reach out to this incredible team today, I couldn't say no.

You see, Tina won her special election just last year where she had to start from scratch. But her scrappy team built a winning campaign that brought her across the finish line and gave Minnesotans leadership they deserve.

Now she's up again in 2020, making her the only Senate Democrat running back-to-back like this. And it's a must-win seat if we want to take back the Senate majority. But I won't beat around the bush, this race will be tough.

Minnesota is a top target for Donald Trump, and he's going to spend as much time as possible stoking division across the state. He already has staff on the ground working to turn Minnesota red, and we just got word they're going to be adding more staff over the next two weeks.

That's alarming news, and why I'm reaching out today:

Tina's up against a critical FEC deadline in a few short weeks, and she's counting on this team to chip in and help grow this campaign. Can you give $10 or whatever you can afford to support Tina and stop Trump from flipping Minnesota red?

We must keep Tina's seat blue if Democrats want to have any shot at taking back the Senate next year. That's why I'm helping my friend at such a critical moment.

My hope is that you will join me. Thanks.
