September 30th marks a critical milestone for us, team. At the end of this week, we’ll reach our final quarterly fundraising deadline before Election Day. 

Let me explain why this deadline is our most important yet. 

We’re federally required to report how much money we’ve raised and how much we have in the bank at the end of each fiscal quarter. So after the end of this month, our numbers will be reported to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and made public for everyone to see.

All eyes are on this race, so everyone from my opponent to her right-wing allies to dark-money outside groups will look through our report for signs of weakness that they can exploit in these final six weeks.

That means it’s vital that we make a strong showing this month so we can put forward the best report possible. My team set a goal to raise $10,500 by Friday at midnight, and I hope I can count on you to pitch in what you can to help us reach our end of quarter goal.
