Hi friend,

Last week we were at the BlackRock headquarters to deliever over 11,000 signatures demanding they cancel Zambia's debt.
BlackRock is one of Zambia’s biggest lenders. During the pandemic they refused the request to suspend debt repayments, alongside other big global banks.

Sky high interest rates mean that Zambians are due to pay back double what was initially borrowed. BlackRock could make over 110% profit if paid back in full.  

While they wait for their profits, we were waiting at their doorstep...

This couldn't have happened without you. While in our makeshift waiting room, supporters like you took action by calling BlackRock in our first ever phone blockade, and left a message for BlackRock CEO, Larry Fink. By turning up and calling in at the same time, we made sure Mr Fink couldn't escape our message.

Thank you so much for all the support you’ve given the campaign so far. Campaigning together with partners around the world, BlackRock must cancel Zambia's debt.
