Since we launched The American SOS Project, we’ve been in overdrive to build a plan that can defeat Trump’s handpicked candidates to oversee elections in battleground states.

And I’ve got a major announcement today about our first big midterm election target: Jim Marchant in Nevada.

We’re going to spend the next six weeks communicating directly with voters in this key battleground to make sure they know the truth about the extreme election denier on their ballots.

Here are the facts:

1. Marchant is a proud election denier. He’s made it clear that he buys into every single bald-faced lie Trump has spread about 2020 -- and will do whatever it takes to put him back into the White House.

2. This race will come down to the wire. Marchant is currently ahead in the polls, making Nevada the state where Donald Trump stands the best chance at installing an extreme, election-denying secretary of state ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

3. Losing in Nevada could spell disaster for our democracy. If we fail to stop Marchant, Nevada’s six electoral votes could easily be handed over to Trump against voters’ will.

This team has the power to defeat Marchant and protect fair elections in Nevada -- if we fight on the ground and on the air to get it done before November 8th.

Before you close this email, I want to share a little more about why this race is, in my opinion, among the most important in the country this November.

Jim Marchant has proven that he’s all in for Trump -- at any cost. He actually served as one of Trump’s fake electors after the last election, ready to ignore the will of the voters and overturn Joe Biden’s victory. When he himself lost a bid for Congress in 2020 by more than 16,000 votes, he falsely blamed election fraud and filed a frivolous lawsuit (that he later lost, of course). And when talking to Steve Bannon about the slate of “America First” candidates, Marchant said, “If we get just a few of the candidates that we have in our coalition, we save our country” -- and by that he means, we get Donald Trump back in the Oval Office.

This guy is no joke. He’s extreme, he worships Trump, and he’s ready to do whatever he possibly can to put him back in power -- including tearing down the very foundation of American democracy.

And he’s the Republican nominee for a position to oversee elections in a key battleground state.

I’m fired up and ready to make sure voters reject Marchant this November. And we’re putting our money where our mouth is to make sure Nevada voters know exactly what’s at stake.
