John,

Just six weeks until the midterms, and pro-democracy forces are on the rise—not just in our drive to retain the Senate, but in our battle for the hotly contested House. It’s pedal-to-the-metal time, folks. We can’t lose focus, and we can’t let up.

There’s so much to do in the home stretch—not just in top-line races, but at the state and local level. Extremist, election-denying candidates are running, up and down the ballot, seeking to gain the power to undermine elections in 2024 and beyond. In addition, extremists are harassing and threatening election officials across the country, with the sole purpose of disrupting the upcoming midterms.
Sen. Ron Johnson, one of Trump's most loyal henchmen, opposes a Wisconsin constitutional amendment to protect the rights of women.
There are organizations throughout Wisconsin fighting hard for our democracy, and they need your help to elect pro-democracy candidates like Gov. Tony Evers, Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes (for Senate), Josh Kaul (for Atty General) and Doug La Follette (for Secy of State).

What Can I Do to Help Wisconsin? Below you will find pointers to some meaningful actions with organizations in need of dedicated, democracy-loving volunteers like you — NOW.

In or Near Wisconsin

If you’re in or near Wisconsin, reach out

As a volunteer with The Union, you’ll receive a national action email each week. Whether you live inside or outside the area for a particular race, there will always be actions for both situations.

We have less than two months until the midterm elections. We cannot relax for a minute. We are mobilizing our pro-democracy coalition across all 50 States. It will take all of us to ensure we have a democracy for ourselves and future generations of Americans.

Please reach out to one friend today, ask them to stand together with us, and get them to join The Union. And follow us on Twitter.

Together,

The Union

P.S. While the two big links above are the fastest way to get involved, if you’re interested in other Wisconsin actions coming up this week, be sure to check out some of the more important ones below. If you attend any of the events in this email, reply back and tell us how it went, or anything else you’d like to share.
