Quarterly Board Meeting Summary

Held on Thursday, September 22, 2022

11,987 current members as of 9.22.22, a 3.2% decrease from 6.23.22. The decrease is a result of post-pandemic CPL class demand decline combined with normal summer lull.

MCRGO-PAC has completed its tripartisan endorsements and is now dissolved until 2024.

The Upper Peninsula Picnic had record attendance in 2022. It will move to a new location in 2023 to avoid the necessity of obtaining a temporary food license from Marquette County.

MCRGO to explore having an interactive smokeless range simulator at the outdoor shows beginning in 2024. No animal or humanoid targets to be used.

MCRGO's website, non-profit registration, and insurance policies have all been renewed.

MCRGO's annual meeting small group breakouts are anticipated to focus on a revision of MCRGO's website in 2023 with the goal to achieve a more modern, cleaner looking site design.

MCRGO's renewal of the sponsorship for the freshman legislators orientation is approved.
