Housing Market is in a Recession
Daily Mail: Record-high housing prices in the US could collapse by up to 20 percent over the next year if a recession sparked by Joe Biden’s inflation takes hold, a top Wall Street economist has warned. Ian Shepherdson, a chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, pointed out that home prices have already declined by about five percent from their peak in May and will continue to tumble. According to his previous work, there are now 40 percent more single-family homes available than four months ago. Prices for homes sank by 0.7 percent in August, but Shepherdson predicts a total decline of up to 20 percent by the middle of 2023 ( Daily Mail). Insider: However, they emphasized the current housing downturn won’t crash the rest of the US economy, as the market has fewer entrenched risks than during the mid-2000s housing bubble. Still, there are growing concerns about the sector. Inflation, which surged to a 40-year high in June and remained above 8% in August, has squeezed consumers’ budgets ( Insider).

Pro-Life Speaker, Counselor Arrested by FBI for Charges Dropped by Local Courts
LifeSite News: A well-known pro-life author, sidewalk counselor, and father of seven was the latest victim of a U.S. Department of Justice-sponsored SWAT raid and arrest — for supposed “FACE Act” violations — at his rural home as his children looked on “screaming.” Mark Houck is the founder and president of The King’s Men, which promotes healing for victims of pornography addiction and promotes Christian virtues among men in the United States and Europe ( LifeSite News). Charlie Kirk: The Biden Regime sent 30 heavily armed FBI agents to arrest Mark Houck because he pushed a Planned Parenthood activist shouting profanities at his 12 yr old son. Where’s the FBI on the 60+ pregnancy centers that have been firebombed by leftwing domestic violent extremists ( Twitter)?

Biden Lies About Gas Prices, Gets Fact Checked
Even CNN is calling out his blatant lie. CNN: During a campaign-style Friday speech at a Democratic National Committee event in Washington, President Joe Biden boasted about the three-month decline in gas prices and about the unemployment rate. But he used inaccurate figures on both subjects… Biden’s claim about average gasoline prices was false, as the White House acknowledged by correcting the official transcript after CNN inquired about the claim on Friday afternoon ( CNN). RNC Research: BIDEN: “In 41 states plus D.C., the average gasoline price is less than $2.99.” That’s completely made up. There are ZERO states with an average price under $2.99/gal — and gas prices remain $1.31/gal higher than when Biden took office ( Twitter). According to AAA, the national average is $3.71 ( AAA).

Poll Indicates Tight Midterms with Determining Factor Being Biden’s Low Approval Rating
New York Post: With control of Congress hanging in the balance, Republicans and Democrats are neck-and-neck in the weeks before November’s midterm elections, according to a poll released on Sunday. Registered voters are giving the GOP the advantage on inflation, the economy and crime, while Democratic candidates are getting an edge on abortion and climate change. Asked if the election for the House were held today, 47% of voters said they would choose the Republican candidate, compared to the 46% who opted for the Democrat ( New York Post). ABC: The president’s standing customarily is critical to his party’s fortunes in midterms — and Biden is well under water. Thirty-nine percent of Americans approve of his job performance while 53% disapprove, about where he’s been steadily the past year. Specifically on the economy, with inflation near a 40-year high, his approval rating is 36% while 57% disapprove ( ABC).

Cheney also said she will campaign for Democrats to ensure that Republican candidates who promote election lies do not get elected ( CNN). That has been completely wiped out in about a year and a half under the Biden administration ( Heritage). Daily Mail: Wage growth in the U.S. has risen to its highest in years, but most American workers say their pay increases are not keeping pace with the rise in costs of everyday goods ( Daily Mail).

Hillary Clinton, Democrats Equate Republicans to Nazis Because They Pointed Upward
Hillary Clinton has a history at name calling republicans. Before the 2016 election, she called the republican base “deplorables.” Fox News: Trump hosted a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, last Saturday in support of US Senate candidate JD Vance, who is facing Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan to succeed retiring Republican Sen. Rob Portman. Some Trump supporters in attendance raised one index finger in the air at the end of the former president’s speech. Taylor Budowich, a spokesman for Trump, accused Clinton of “using some of the most disgusting smears imaginable” ( Fox News). Jon Levine: Hillary Clinton likens Trump supporters to Nazis during remarks at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin “What’s happened to these people” ( Twitter)? Daily Wire: Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin claimed that Trump supporters pointing in the air “bore an uncanny resemblance to the infamous Nazi salute.” Other left-wingers, including feminist author Joyce Carol Oates, Harvard professor emeritus Laurence Tribe, retired Army General and MSNBC contributor Barry McCaffrey, and the left-wing legal organization Citizens for Ethics all compared the rally attendees to Nazi supporters on Twitter ( Daily Wire).

USA Today: Tropical Storm Ian was forecast to rapidly gain strength Sunday while racing across the Caribbean toward Cuba and threatening a big hit to Florida’s west coast later in the week. As Ian approaches Florida, Accuweather said the storm could reach Category 4 status, which means sustained winds between 130 mph and 156 mph. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis urged residents to load up on food, water, medicine, batteries and fuel.
