Right now, Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC is running attack ads against me on TV. So before the weekend is over, I wanted you to hear directly from me about what this means for our campaign and personally ask you to chip in a few dollars so our team has the resources to continue running our own ads to push back against these attacks.

I wish I had better news to share, but the truth is, the attacks are picking up steam. With just two months to go until the election, the GOP has already spent $4 million on misleading TV ads, not to mention what they have running on digital and radio too. And we know they’re planning to spend an additional $7 million in this final stretch.

After talking to my team, it’s clear that we need to respond forcefully. The GOP is pulling out all the stops because they know ME-02 is one of the most competitive districts on the map. They’re trying everything to take back this seat, and we need to come together to show them that this district belongs to the people – not the highest bidder.
