It’s official, folks —

Our race is the most expensive House race in the country.

I want to stop here and say that this race is the most expensive for a reason. It’s because – just as I’ve said for months – the GOP is throwing everything they have at our battleground district so they can unseat me and take our House majority.

With there now being $25,000,000 spent in this race, it’s more important than ever that we step up our game to hold this seat in November.

Will you please chip in however much you can afford to help my campaign win the most expensive House seat in the country? Saving our House majority is going to come down to us.

You know, if you told me when I filed to run for re-election that this would be the most expensive House seat in the country, I would have believed you.

Pundits told us from the beginning that this seat would be a toss-up, and the GOP was listening. These past few months, our team has been in the battle of our lives against GOP bigwigs and their dark money. It’s why we’ve always said that as we’d get closer to the election, Republican spending in this race is going to skyrocket.

Well, here we are now and they’re not done funneling money into this district just yet.

The Republican Party has their ideal candidate in my opponent, April Becker. She’s the most far-right candidate to have ever run in this district, is a full-blown election denier, and is running her campaign based on Donald Trump’s playbook.

I’m being serious when I say that April is in this race for her own gain, too. When she lost her previous State Senate race, she filed two lawsuits to overturn the results.

Team, the GOP and radical April Becker are working hard to tear our movement down and take this district back a generation. I’m determined to continue down the path of progress but first, I need all the help I can get to come out on top in this must-win race for Democrats.
