Andy Harris is a flip-flopper. After he and Heather agreed to appear at a debate together in October, he backed out because he was too afraid to face the voters and attempt to defend his terrible record.
It turns out, though, that Andy Harris caved to the pressures of being called a coward, so now the debate is back on and we can’t wait to see Heather go toe-to-toe with him next month.
This will be an opportunity for voters in MD-01 to hear Harris attempt to explain why he is a co-sponsor of a bill that would make abortion illegal nationwide, with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the woman.
Or explain why he voted against marriage equality, against supporting our veterans, and against funds to finance local infrastructure projects here in the First District (though he took credit for the legislation he opposed anyway).
And what excuse does he have for plotting to overthrow our government as one of ten co-conspirators at the Trump White House meeting planning the January 6th insurrection?
Andy is a traitor and a coward, and the First District deserves better.
