Cleveland.com -- Republicans JD Vance and Mike DeWine reject Ohio Debate Commission invitations to debate Democratic rivals

Team — JD Vance and Mike DeWine are cowards for refusing to participate in debates.

Recent polling from USA TODAY Network Ohio/Suffolk University shows that 84% of Ohioans want to see debates before the election. While both Nan Whaley and Tim Ryan are happy and ready to get on the debate stage, their opponents refuse.

Debates are a staple of any political race. But Vance and DeWine rejected debate invitations, making it clear that they have zero respect for our democracy and would rather hide from Ohioans than be held accountable.

They are not fit to be leaders and don’t belong anywhere near an elected office.
