Let me tell you why I’m personally asking you to chip in our $26 average online contribution today. 

That number is significant. It demonstrates that our movement is funded by the generosity of grassroots activists like you chipping in a few dollars when they can -- not huge checks from big donors or special interests.

And right now with control of the Senate majority on the line and the final FEC end-of-quarter deadline of the election coming up in a few days, our work is more critical than ever.

We’re hoping to bring in 2,600 small-dollar contributions by midnight tomorrow to make sure we can ramp up our voter outreach efforts. If you can afford to chip in a few dollars, please consider making a contribution before the FEC deadline.

Ohio is one of the most expensive races in the country and Mitch McConnell’s $30 million ad buy is live across the state. And if the stakes weren’t already high enough, Senate Republicans just introduced a bill for a nationwide abortion ban.

That makes it all the more crucial that we defend and expand our Democratic Senate majority this November.

We can do it by talking to voters in every corner of Ohio and the country about our progressive values -- but first, we need everyone in this grassroots community who is able to pitch in to contribute what they can before the upcoming FEC deadline.
