This past weekend, our family attended the Mountain State Fair. We ate fried Oreos, had some fun on the bumper cars, got the twins on their first rides, and had a total blast at this annual tradition here in Western NC.

It was yet another reminder of how special WNC is and how inspiring and fun it is to connect with people across our district.

Your support is making it possible for us to connect with so many across our community, from door knocking to community events to personal phone calls. This past weekend we had more than 100 volunteers and fellow candidates out there knocking doors with us and having powerful personal conversations all across the district.

I’m truly grateful for every member on this grassroots team. Especially since polling shows us within a single-digit margin of my opponent.

Your nonstop support in this battleground race gives me faith that we’re going to deliver the real leadership NC-11 deserves in 44 days.

But our chances of winning this race will come down to whether or not we have the resources to go up against my right-wing opponent and his dark money war chest, so anything you chip in today will make all the difference.

Our final quarterly FEC deadline before Election Day is on Friday and we’re falling $22,879 short of our end-of-quarter goal. That’s why I’m humbly asking you to chip in $25 or whatever you can today to turn out voters and flip this seat blue.
