Friend, itâs Tim Scott. I only have a
minute so Iâm going to get straight to the point.
I grew up in a
single-parent household and almost failed out of high school. If it werenât for my
supportive mother and mentors, who knows where I would be today.
The American
Dream - the possibility of going from cotton to Congress - was never guaranteed to
me. Now, Iâm committed to making sure that every child has the same opportunities
regardless of which side of the tracks they grew up on.
But listen,
Friend, winning this fight is impossible without your support.

Iâm in the
Senate to fight for the American dream for all Americans. That means fighting for
kids who grow up in circumstances like mine, protecting our God given rights, and
expanding opportunities for all Americans regardless of race, gender, age, and
political identity.
Iâm a humble
person and hate asking for favors. But Iâm nothing without you - I canât do this
on my own. Our end-of-quarter deadline is rapidly approaching and we canât
waste any more time. We havenât raised enough to hit our goal, but itâs not too
