Team, governors play a huge role in building our economy from the bottom up and the middle out, protecting voting rights, reproductive freedom, and more. They’re often the last line of defense against the GOP’s attacks on our rights.

There are 36 governors’ races this year. That means that we can’t just focus on federal elections -- we have to win up and down the ballot in the states, too.

Put simply: Electing more Democratic governors means more progress on the issues we all care about. The DGA is crucial to that effort, and that’s why I’m reaching out today.
