John – just days ago, the GOP nominated Don Bolduc to face me in November.

Don is the most extreme nominee New Hampshire has seen in decades. Whether it’s peddling lies about the 2020 election or telling women to “get over it” when asked about a nationwide abortion ban, his positions speak for themselves. But to understand how he would act as a U.S. Senator, we have to take a look at who is backing him.

Donald Trump is praising him. According to Donald Trump himself, Bolduc is the “Trumpiest” candidate – he supported Trump’s baseless lies about the 2020 election and has said that he would "defy the presidential election results, should he be called upon to do so in 2024." It’s no wonder why Donald Trump would want him in the United States Senate – and why all of us need to pull together to defeat him.

Mike Pence is raising money for him. Pence’s ultimate goal is a national abortion ban and he knows that if Don Bolduc defeats me, he’d be a “yes” vote on that nationwide ban – helping Pence make good on his promise that overturning Roe was just the “beginning.” We must protect a woman’s fundamental right to be a full and equal citizen in our democracy by winning this seat. Mitch McConnell and his dark money allies are spending over $56 million to get him elected. McConnell knows that New Hampshire is the key to retaking the Senate majority. With the Senate split 50-50, he only needs to flip one seat to gain a majority and take back the gavel. We have to protect our razor-thin majority – our democracy and our rights are on the line.
