A Political Vendetta
Minutes before Washington Democrats voted to impeach President Trump, I took to the House Floor to reiterate that impeachment will not just be a stain on their legacy – it will be their only legacy.
For the first time in history, the impeachment of a President was completely partisan. Every single Republican and some Democrats voted against this sham impeachment of President Trump.
This entire process was never about an impeachable offense, it was about carrying out a vendetta against President Trump from the day he took office. Throughout the entire process, Nancy Pelosi and her liberal lieutenants rigged the very rules of the impeachment inquiry; they broke House rules, they abused their power, and they denied President Trump and Congressional Republicans basic due process rights.
This week, Speaker Pelosi put politics over country. This never should have been brought to the House Floor.
Despite this sham that Americans have been subjected to, one thing remains clear: Congressional Republicans and President Trump remain committed to fighting on behalf of the forgotten men and women of this country who have been left behind

A Historic Win for Our Country and Our Economy
This week, Congress delivered President Trump's top legislative priority with a strong bipartisan vote by passing the historic United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA).
With Louisiana businesses exporting more than $12 billion to Canada and Mexico every year, the USMCA trade deal will be a major boost for our economy and will provide over 6,000 new jobs right here in Louisiana. This is a huge win for Louisiana families and small businesses!
Once USMCA is ratified, the United States can continue working to get better trade deals with other countries around the world who have already recognized that their economies will also benefit if they treat America more fairly in our outdated trade deals.
