[1]Stacey Abrams for Governor

John,

In just a minute, we're going to tell you a
story about a brave woman who made a near-impossible decision for herself
and the livelihoods of her family.

[ [link removed] ]But we have less than 4 weeks before Georgians begin casting their
votes for governor in this election and we need you. Brian Kemp is
spending “whatever it takes” to win this election and keep his radical
agenda going for another four years. Will you donate $5 to
make sure that we elect Stacey Abrams and put Brian Kemp out of a job this
November?

John, Rep.
Shea Roberts recently shared this powerful story with Stacey and other
women who spoke about their experiences involving difficult choices about
her reproductive health:

When Shea became pregnant, she was 38 and already a mother to two
daughters. Later in her pregnancy, her doctors ran blood tests that
indicated Trisomy 18 — a chromosomal disorder that would mean her child
would live only a few days, hours or even minutes after birth.

It was then that her doctors recommended having an abortion. The pregnancy
risked Shea's health as well as the livelihoods of her young daughters,
who were dependent on her at the time.

It “was a horribly traumatic time in my life. Probably the worst, darkest
time I can think of," she said.

For many women, a choice like this is one of the most difficult they'll
ever make. And without that choice, Shea would have been risking the life
she had built for her family.

But under Brian Kemp’s dangerous abortion ban, there's no telling how many
women's lives are in jeopardy. And there's certainly no telling how many
women like Shea will be affected for years to come if Brian Kemp is
reelected.

Stacey has promised to combat Kemp's extreme, dangerous abortion laws the
minute she steps into the Governor's office. She plans to fight
tooth-and-nail to protect the women of Georgia — not endanger their lives.

This is not a fight we will win easily,
John. But it is one we can
win — together.

[ [link removed] ]We can replace Brian Kemp with a governor who will defend the women of
Georgia, with the help of your
first
$5 contribution. Please, chip in today.
