The days are getting shorter but they’re not getting any easier, folks.

If you’re anything like me, the closer we get to Election Day, the more stress you’ll feel.

That’s why it’s so important we take a moment to unwind, find our sense of calm, and allow ourselves the opportunity to be in the present—even when the future seems so daunting.

We all know what’s at stake this November—abortion access, voting rights, our nation’s economic success, and heck, even the future of democracy as we know it.

But we can’t allow ourselves to become overwhelmed. Instead, each and every one of us must focus on doing our individual part, one day at a time, until we see the change we strive for.

For me, that means traveling around Ohio, having real, face-to-face conversations with voters, and continuing to fight for working families.

I’m not sure what it looks like for you—we’re all different—but I hope at the end of a long day, you allow yourself the space to unwind and focus on what’s truly important.
