Earlier this month, the community of Uvalde experienced another mass shooting at a park with families and children playing in the afternoon.

Tony Gonzales refuses to take any action to stop gun violence in our towns and communities.Tony sold out the Uvalde community for a pathetic $6,500 in campaign donations from the NRA.

That's $203.12 per victim.

Meanwhile, his fellow Republicans in Congress — who are also bought and paid for by the National Rifle Association (NRA) — are looking for ways to make guns more accessible.

As a Marine veteran who has had the training to handle weapons of war, I won’t stop fighting to protect our families and loved ones from gun violence.

You’d think watching your own community suffer at the hands of gun violence would have been a wake-up call for Tony, but the reality is that he admitted to checking in with the NRA before voting on gun legislation AFTER the Uvalde shooting.

That’s why I’m running for Congress — because before I vote on a single bill — I won’t call the NRA or special interest groups, I will talk to the people of TX-23 and vote for them.

When Tony was faced with voting on gun legislation, he didn’t waste a minute getting on the phone with the NRA to see how they wanted him to vote.
