Yesterday, the Pima County Court handed down a decision that will allow Arizona's 1901 abortion ban to go into effect. It makes no exceptions for rape or incest and it criminalizes nearly ALL ABORTIONS.
I'm heartbroken, horrified, and angry. This is going to have devastating consequences for women and girls across our state, and I will do everything in my power to fight it.
Blake Masters, Kari Lake, and Juan Ciscomani all proudly support extreme abortion bans without exceptions for rape or incest — Ciscomani even cheered when Roe was overturned. He's out of step with the values and needs of folks in Arizona, and we can be sure that if he wins this race, a nationwide abortion ban will be coming.
