Dear John,

China’s human rights violations in Tibet are terrible crimes they desperately
want to hide. To suppress the truth, they censor news, restrict journalists’
access and punish those who dare speak out.

As an ICT supporter, you shine a light on these violations. Your gifts fund our
work, particularly reports from our highly credible sources about what is really
happening in Tibet—reports that legislators around the world use to influence
change.

Donate now and you’ll have an even greater impact. Your gift will be immediately

to help break China’s information blockade—and tell the world the truth about
what’s happening inside Tibet.

Chinese officials have made it illegal to display an image of His Holiness the
Dalai Lama, to publicly pray for his health or even to celebrate his birthday.
But their oppression doesn’t stop there.

China is now falsely claiming the right to select the next Dalai Lama, violating
our most deeply-held beliefs about reincarnation—and wresting control of Tibetan
Buddhism away from the Tibetan people. If China’s government succeeds with this
strategy, my religion will become a propaganda tool for communist officials.

John, when you donate now you’ll help our effort to
expose China’s brazen plans and stop their takeover of Tibetan Buddhism.

And because this issue is so fundamental, ICT Chairman Richard Gere and friends
will match your gift—up to a total of $250,000. Together, we can raise $500,000 to help protect Tibetan Buddhism, Tibetan
culture and Tibetans’ human rights.

I am grateful that we have supporters like you, John,
who value religious freedom. Please make your best gift today to help in our
effort to protect the sacredness of Tibetan Buddhism and fuel ICT’s monitoring
and reporting.

With gratitude,

Bhuchung Tsering
Vice President

P.S. China’s attacks on religious freedom are just the beginning—their endgame
is to erase all that is sacred of Tibetan Buddhism. Your matched gift today will help to ensure that Tibetan Buddhism remains in
the hands of Tibetans.
