Today I’m thrilled to introduce you to the Arena Staff Fellows working to flip the Arizona State Legislature. 

Arizona is a story of how to win back power in a Republican-controlled state. In 2012, just ten years ago, Republicans had a super-majority in the Arizona State Legislature. This lit a fire under Arizona Democrats, motivating them to organize, build in-state infrastructure, and strategically invest in the long-term. With this in mind, the Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee got to work and has won seven seats since 2016.

Now, Democrats are only one seat away from tying both chambers in Arizona. With state legislatures wielding so much power, from regulating abortion access, to protecting voting rights, to determining the outcome of presidential elections, this is a pivotal moment for the state and for our country. 

That’s why Arena placed eight Arena-trained staffers on critical races in Arizona. Today. I want to introduce you to them and ask you to chip in to ensure they have the resources they need to deliver victory in Arizona. 

Meet the Arena Staff Fellows working in Arizona:

Hailey, Xóchitl, Sakina, Alicia, Tawanya, Emilie, Brittney, and Jessica are working every day in Arizona to ensure Democratic victories in races that could be decided by just a few hundred votes. But our ability to support them depends on your investment in our work.
