This weekend, we joined our friends at SEIU to push for UNIONS FOR ALL in Richmond, VA! Workers from all over joined SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry and Virginia House of Delegates Minority Leader Don Scott for a roundtable discussion and rally to demand good union jobs and a voice in democracy! The modern labor movement is alive and well in Pittsburgh, too, where SEIU members joined SEIU Executive Vice President Neal Bisno with Pennsylvania Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro for a rally and roundtable discussion to demand good union jobs and a voice in democracy! Workers all over America are coming together to unionize industries long overdue for the power of collective bargaining. The success of the gender equality movement has sparked a terrifying backlash from across the political spectrum. But our friends at UltraViolet know, and we do too, that it’s frequently darkest just before dawn. They’ll never stop fighting for gender equality, and we won’t either! Watch the full show here:

Then of course, there’s the real star of this show- all of you. Act. TV exists to highlight the struggles and victories of ordinary people, and to empower everyone in this country to create an America as good as its promise. Help us continue to get up and do this every single day, for as long as our democracy is in danger.

The struggles we face are small compared with all that lies within us. Especially when we stand together as a movement family, united as one invincible power.
