I’m about to ask you to chip in to help us reach our last quarterly fundraising goal before the general election.

I'll be frank, folks: I’m about to ask you to chip in to help us reach our last quarterly fundraising goal before the general election. But before I get ahead of myself, let me explain why this deadline is so important.

Federal campaigns like ours are legally required at the end of each quarter to submit our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission, or FEC, who will then make our numbers public.

Republicans are already pouring millions of dollars behind ads in battleground states and districts to try to take back the House and Senate. And a new Donald Trump-linked super PAC — MAGA Inc. — is about to unleash even more spending in the final weeks before the midterms.

If our fundraising numbers look weak, you can bet the GOP will throw even more money at the races our campaign is supporting — like Gabe Vasquez’s red-to-blue House race in New Mexico’s 2nd District and Raphael Warnock’s battleground Senate race in Georgia.

That’s why it’s so important we meet our quarterly goal ahead of the deadline and show the strength of Democrats’ organizing efforts.

We’ve come too far to fall short now. Will you chip in $10 — or any amount — so we can report strong fundraising numbers to the FEC and power our work to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, all across the country?

This is our campaign’s last major test before the general election. Thanks for pitching in what you can.
