My dear friend,

Each day I’m asked the same questions:

“How do you defeat Patty Murray?”

“Did you hear about Patty’s record fundraising numbers?”

“Have you heard Sen. Murray’s latest interview about you?”

It just all becomes too much sometimes.

Ever since my husband was blinded while serving in Iraq, my dreams have been on hold. I’ve moved across the country with three toddlers, taken care of my husband, challenged the establishment, and so much more.

However, these experiences have given me the strength to keep going when people doubt my ability to win in Washington. They don’t realize what I’ve had to fight for and discount my abilities just because I’m not a career politician.

But that’s what makes this campaign so special. We’re on the brink of a historic upset in Washington. We have a real chance to make a change.
