Hello John, this is Chris Pappas, Representative of New Hampshire’s First District and newest SEEC member.

What made me join the ranks of Congress’ most valuable environmental advocates? In short, “forever chemicals” (also known as PFAS).

They’re found in non-stick pans and other non-stick products – even dental floss. And now, they’re in your body. Research studies calculate that 99 percent of Americans have PFAS in their blood – and 200 million Americans are drinking known PFAS-contaminated water as we speak.

That’s not good news, John. Forever chemicals have been linked to many health risks, cancer being one of the biggest.

This is our reality: PFAS are everywhere, putting millions of Americans at risk of life-threatening illnesses. And this is all because of chemical companies’ greed and negligence in containing these forever chemicals from spreading as far and wide as they are now.

We need to take immediate action in Congress to hold polluters accountable and protect drinking water everywhere. Will you split a donation between me and SEEC PAC today so we can protect our health and our environment? [[link removed]]

PFAS is one of the most pressing environmental and public health issues we face today. That’s why I’ve introduced the Clean Water Standards for PFAS 2.0 Act to further regulate forever chemicals and prevent polluters from contaminating our waterways to ensure every American has safe clean drinking water. I’m ready to keep up the fight to hold polluters accountable in Congress. But here’s the thing, John: The Cook Political Report has called my race a “Toss Up,” and I’m running against an extreme MAGA opponent who thinks that climate change is, and I quote, “BS.” If she’s willing to deny climate change as a reality, we can bet that she’ll never support clean water standards, and she’ll support big polluters. Will you split a donation between my campaign and SEEC PAC so we can win this race and deliver on clean water? [[link removed]] DONATE → [[link removed]]Rep. Chris Pappas (NH-1)

Thanks to your help in 2020, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 117th Congress while we undo the damage of the Trump Administration.
