I’m reaching out to you today about my friend, PA-05’s congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon.

 

Mary Gay is facing a tough re-election battle for PA-05 -- and because of the work she has done to defend our Constitution, hold the president accountable, and ensure our future elections are free from foreign influence, big GOP groups are building up dark money to stop her from winning a second term.

 

I’m telling you now: we need fighters like Mary Gay in Congress. She’s smart as a tack and is doing everything she can to improve the lives of Pennsylvania families.

 

I know her team has a critical FEC filing deadline coming up very soon. The GOP will be quick to review her report to judge the strength of her re-election campaign -- and her team tells me they’re still very short of their goal.

 

Protecting this Pennsylvania seat is absolutely critical in the fight for our shared Democratic values, and we know Trump’s only path to victory in 2020 runs directly through Mary Gay’s district.
