Team –
I wanted to recap for you my first debate of the General election, hosted by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce on Thursday. The differences between my opponent and me were on full display.
I made it clear that I will fight to protect and expand reproductive freedom. I’ll advocate for our region’s infrastructure needs, whether it’s lowering tolls on the Narrows Bridge or ensuring we are a priority in our state’s transportation budget. And I will always put the people of the 26th district at the center of my work, because that’s what you deserve in your State Senator.
My opponent said that he wants to take away our freedom to choose when and how we plan our families. He wants to replace Washington’s mail-in voting system, at a time when our democracy is under assault. And he resorted to false attacks against me and my record to try and prove his points. His views are dangerous and do not represent our community.
Let’s do all we can to reject this extremist ideology. We only have 28 days until ballots go out, and 46 days until Election Day. Can I count on you to step up today and show your support for my campaign with a contribution? [[link removed]]
The choice in November is clear, but it’s going to take all of us working together to win this race. Thank you for always standing with me.
