Here’s the deal: Katie is ready to lead Arizona forward as our next governor. She’ll defend our reproductive freedoms and protect our democracy. Meanwhile, her extreme MAGA opponent, Kari Lake, promotes conspiracy theories at every opportunity, has vowed to criminalize abortion, and believes everyday Arizonans should be able to own rocket launchers — literal weapons of war.

Make no mistake: Even though her priorities are completely out of line with what the majority of Arizonans want, Kari Lake has a very real chance to win. If the needle in this neck-and-neck race moves in her favor and she becomes Arizona’s next governor, the consequences would be disastrous for our state.

What’s more, it would be disastrous for American democracy. Kari Lake is an avid supporter of the Big Lie and one of the most outspoken election deniers in the country. If elected, there’s a very strong possibility that she would refuse to certify the 2024 election results in Arizona.
