Corporate puppet masters are pouring millions of dollars into the gubernatorial race in their effort to defeat Gov. Tony Evers. Unfortunately, it seems to be working – poll numbers show the race is a tossup.

This is nothing new. The Walker era sold Wisconsin out to polluting corporations and out-of-state billionaires. But, the current threat is an existential one. Wisconsin’s environment and democracy are now on red alert.

Extremist candidate Tim Michels, himself an out-of-state corporate billionaire, just pledged to make Wisconsin the new Florida – showing up in Green Bay before the Packers home opener last Sunday with Ron Desantis, the Trump wannabe whose racist and destructive policies have been disastrous for the people of Florida.

Tim Michels made it very clear he plans to import those extreme, racist, and anti-democracy policies to your home. He plans to strip you of your freedom to vote. Lay waste to Wisconsin’s natural abundance. Kill the growing momentum of a clean energy economy before it begins to prove its promise.
