John,

Today is National Public Lands Day! New Mexico is home to some of the most breathtaking landscapes and wildlife thanks to the conservation of our public lands.

Our deserts, forests, and mountains are connected to our cultures, economy, history, and traditions, and they provide our communities with a diverse range of uses like hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, camping, grazing, and more.

While Gabe has devoted years of his life toward protecting our public lands and passing on his love of the outdoors to young people, NM-02’s current far-right representative is a member of the anti-public lands caucus and puts the interests of corporate CEOs over those of New Mexicans.

In her short tenure in Congress, Herrell has voted against a bill to help New Mexico clean up industry-abandoned oil and gas wells that pollute our air, water, and threaten wildlife, and she refused to support Sen. Heinrich’s bipartisan Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, which would fund conservation of threatened and endangered species and provide millions of dollars to Tribal nations for conservation efforts.

The choice is clear: Gabe will fight for our public lands while Herrell will continue to neglect them.

Our campaign is coming up on the last FEC end-of-quarter deadline of this race less than one week from today. Help us reach our goal by September 30 and give NM-02 a true champion for public lands by pitching in $10 or more now →

Thanks for all you do to elect Gabe and conserve our public lands for generations to come!
