Hi, friend – sorry for emailing again, but with news that I've slipped 1 point behind Marco Rubio in this Senate-deciding race, I had to reach out.

I have just hours left before my midnight deadline, and I'm still falling $9,276 short of what I need to catch back up to Rubio and stop Republicans from permanently flipping Florida red.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that what we do now will decide whether I can win this race and guarantee Democrats will protect our Senate majority.

After two polls last month showed me TIED with Marco Rubio, a new poll came out: It's 45-46. We're trailing Rubio by 1 POINT in the race that could decide Senate control.

This poll is a major step back, friend. There's no way around that. I'm getting outspent in key areas of Florida, and we're running out of time to fix this. 

After I became the official Democratic nominee for Florida's Senate seat, Rubio launched another $1.3 MILLION in new attack ads, and clearly they're beginning to resonate with voters.

What's worse is that as you read this, Rubio, Mitch McConnell and the GOP are gearing up to pour even more money into this race to bombard Floridians with nonstop attack ads from now until Election Day. Why? Because the GOP knows that I can defeat Rubio, and when I do, it will virtually guarantee that Democrats keep Senate control. 

If we're going to counter their attacks, take the lead and protect our Senate majority, we need to raise $250,000 before midnight tonight – and I simply can't get there without your immediate donation.
