Over the past few years, we’ve all watched in horror as the GOP threatens our democracy at every turn.

Led by Donald Trump and his MAGA mob, Republicans have undermined the rule of law, encouraged acts of violence, and sowed the seeds of division and hatred.

Thankfully, Connecticut has been able to avoid the worst of it, but that can change at any moment.

The midterm elections are just 45 days away, and there are several extremist Republicans vying to take over our state. Will you help us stop them by donating $15 right away? We need to raise $20,000 before the end-of-month deadline. [[link removed]]

Connecticut is a great example of what can be accomplished by a unified government that is focused on making life better for the people it serves.

Access to abortion is available to all, including those who must travel here from out of state to get the care they need. We have some of the strongest, most effective gun laws in the nation. And we have a booming economy with historic surpluses allowing us to provide much needed relief to working families.

The GOP is eager to grab the reins of our state and take us in a completely other direction — one of division, lawlessness, and hate. We can’t let that happen.
