Fighting Against Biden's Energy Crisis
During this week's House Energy and Commerce Committee meeting, I slammed the Biden Administration for its attack on American energy and spoke in support of legislation that would hold President Biden and his agencies accountable.
Before President Biden took office, the United States emerged as the world’s leading energy producer, and American oil production was wisely treated as an arsenal of energy security. Instead of attacking our livelihoods, raising energy costs for families and small businesses, and jeopardizing America’s energy security, President Biden should try to strengthen America’s energy security, reduce energy costs for families, and not make us more dependent on foreign oil.
H. Res. 1265 would hold the Biden Administration accountable by requesting specific documentation and communications related to the administration’s pursuit of a radical climate agenda. During the meeting, Committee Democrats failed to pass this transparency measure.
