These sweet chicks below are running free, exploring the world around them with the sun above their heads and the grass beneath their feet.

The sad truth is that most chickens like them will never have this chance. Their lives will be cut short when they are just six weeks old. They will endure darkness and suffering, surrounded only by filth, barely able to move. And then their lives will brutally end as they are sent to slaughter when they are just babies.
