On Tuesday, Governor DeSantis received an endorsement from Democrat Palm Beach County Commissioner and former law enforcement officer Dave Kerner. Florida communities are ranked among the safest in the nation, and Governor DeSantis remains committed to supporting law enforcement and first responders.
He has been endorsed by every major law enforcement organization in the state including the Florida Police Chiefs Association, the Florida Police Benevolent Association, and 59 sheriffs across the state, including Democrat sheriffs.

This week, Governor DeSantis announced a portion of his tax relief proposal for the upcoming legislative session which would provide $1.1 billion in additional tax relieffor Florida families. If passed by the Legislature, the proposal would expand the annual Back to School tax holiday and provide permanent tax exemptions for baby and toddler items in addition to a year-long tax exemption on other household items families need every day.

On Friday, we released our latest ad that features testimony from retired Navy Captain Dan Bean, a Jacksonville native who served alongside Governor DeSantis during his service in the U.S. Navy. The Navy’s core values are honor, courage, and commitment – principles instilled in Governor DeSantis that guided him as he advised SEAL Team 1 and guide him still today as he leads the free state of Florida.
