Honoring National Recovery Month
September is National Recovery Month, and Congress "went purple" this week to celebrate Recovery Month. Last year, nearly 108,000 Americans lost their lives to drug overdoses. It's a record we don't want to break. As a member of the Bipartisan Addiction and Mental Health Task Force, I am proud to stand with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to spread awareness and support those in recovery.
