The president signed two minibus bills to fund the government until the end of fiscal year 2020, just in time for Christmas! Once again, Dems waited until the 11th hour to fund the government, a strategy to push liberal policy riders through right before recess.
We key voted NO on the domestic spending package, which was riddled with liberal policy riders like tax extenders, Ex-Im reauthorization, and unnecessary government spending.

USMCA
The House finally took action on the United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA), passing legislation to authorize USMCA with bipartisan support. The Senate is expected to take up USMCA in the new year.
