Hi friends,
This month we concluded season one of the Our Children’s Trust-produced podcast, No Ordinary Lawsuit ([link removed]) , with two new episodes!
We re-released episode four, which explores major movements for social change that have drawn inspiration, participation, and momentum from children. This episode features Juliana v. United States plaintiff Vic and one of his expert witnesses, Catherine Smith, who is a dean at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.
Our final episode takes listeners behind the scenes with the Juliana plaintiffs during their time in Portland last month for their hearing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
You can listen to both of these, as well as all of our previous episodes, on iTunes ([link removed]) or wherever you get your podcasts. If you haven’t yet, please give us a rating on iTunes and share with your friends.
We would like to give a big shoutout to our podcast team: Cheryl Devall, Ambar Espinoza, Devin Gallagher, and Seth Quittner, who made this production possible. Thank you! We are excited to come back with a second season next fall so that we can continue to tell the story of these 21 amazing young people and their landmark climate lawsuit against the federal government.
Warmly,
Meg & Caitlin
The OCT Communications Team
