Real median household income was $70,784 in 2021, not statistically different from the 2020 estimate of $71,186.

Citizenship Day and Constitution Day

September 17 was Citizenship Day and Constitution Day!

On Feb. 29, 1952, Congress designated September 17 as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution on this day in 1787 and recognize all American citizens.

IPHI Release: Official Poverty Measure

The official poverty rate in 2021 was 11.6 percent, which is not statistically different from the rate in 2020, according to new Census Bureau data released.
